Team Building
Young Professionals Salt Lake City (YPSLC) a local non-profit was holding a full day planning and development workshop. JOYMOB was tasked with creating activities that improve connection between attendees and inspire collaboration.
Team Workshop
Co-facilitating the day was Chris Ferrer who led the vote and note facilitation to establish concrete ideas that move the group forward in their planning and decision making process.
Together we led the team through an immersive experience filled with planning and collaboration.
Finding things in common
Some of these volunteers knew each other well and others not as much. We took this opportunity to have them get to know one another, with a game that challenged them to find things they had in common.
The Public Mixer
The process was so positive that we were asked to come back again and facilitate at one of their public events this time.
About 200 people attended.
Impact
Team Workshop: Collaboration and inspiration flowed well past lunch. They were able to formulate an execution strategy for the upcoming year.
Public Mixer: The guests made new friends and regular attendees got to know each other a little better. Connection is at the heart of the YPSLC mixers and we’re proud to have helped facilitate that.
